One more week to go

In today’s blog, I’ll briefly update you on the progress of FIFA MANAGER 12. The most important news comes first: The game has been finished last week and went to production immediately.

The translation toolkit for our fansites has also been compiled and will be sent out today.

After the works on FIFA MANAGER 12 have been completed, we immediately started the preparations for the demo. A first version is finished and is in testing phase as we speak. As a first, both Switzerland and Austria will be available in the demo.

Besides our focus on the demo, we are continuously working on the optimization of our internal processes. For example, a tool that allows us to compare two databases is designed and created at the moment. This way, we can filter the differences between two databases, and this gives us the opportunity to tell you what exact data changed between database updates. This is especially important because of the new Live Season feature Live Database. With Live Database, you’ll get far more database updates than in past times.

Live Season itself is also put up-to-date so we have all data set and ready for the release next week. In detail this means all missing results, scorers, injuries, bans and so forth are checked and put to the latest standings. You still have the chance to get Live Season for free, without any additional costs, if you pre-order the game via Origin (dee below for further information). The weekly update will thus not only contain results of more than 11 international leagues but also an updated database.

Last but not least, I also have an update concerning videos and screenshots:
Since last Thursday, the third feature video is online, today we also published the fourth one. On Thursday, the last feature video, dealing with the community-driven “Your Feature!” campaign will go live. Besides the videos, a new set of screenshots will be published before the weekend as well.
